Allu Arjun vs Mega Family, What's Brewing?

Allu Arjun’s gesture of going all the way to Nandyal to campaign for his close friend and YSRCP candidate Silpa Ravi Chandra Kishore Reddy has created quite a furor (More so because Allu Arjun’s uncle Pawan Kalyan is contesting against YSRCP in the elections). Allu Arjun later clarified that he went to support his friend in his personal capacity, perhaps his gesture seems to have been taken more seriously than how the actor anticipated. While there was a lot being written about ‘ties severed’ between Allu and Mega family earlier, Allu Arjun’s latest act has once again turned the spotlight on the rift between the two families.

Nagababu Targeted Allu Arjun?
On the last day of the election campaign (May 11), Ram Charan and his mother went to Pithapuram where Pawan Kalyan is contesting from Janasena Party. Charan expressed his solidarity to his uncle and appealed to everyone to vote. On the same day, Allu Arjun sprung a surprise by going all the way from Hyderabad to Nandyal from where his close friend Silpa Ravi Chandra Kishore Reddy is contesting from rival YSRCP. Although Allu Arjun extended his support for his uncle Pawan Kalyan via a social media post, the fact that he went all the way to support his friend from a rival party irked Janasena Party members. Many felt that Nagababu’s cryptic social media post of expressing disappointment on some members of his own group not supporting the party was directed at Allu Arjun.

Allu Arjun’s Gesture Resurfaced Rumours
Earlier, on several occasions, there were reports about a split between Allu and Mega family. Although actors from both the families kept denying Allu Arjun’s Nandyal gesture indicates a rift. Many fans of mega clan asked how can Allu Arjun campaign for his close friend (Silpa Ravi Reddy) and only just manage a social media post as an endorsement to his own family member (Pawan Kalyan) who is also contesting.

“Either Allu Arjun should campaign for both candidates or should refrain from going to both the places. But going only to one place, and that too prioritising his friend against his own family member, is like inviting trouble,” said an industry analyst.

On the other hand, there are some members from the film fraternity who expressed that Allu Arjun had every right to endorse his friend. Amid these reports, Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan remained silent. All in all, there’s a lot of buzz surrounding these two heroes and their families. This has become the hottest topic.
