Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain actress Saumya Tandon undergoes a minor surgery, writes 'Recovering and will emerge fit soon'

Saumya Tandon 's most recent Instagram post has left many of her admirers and friends concerned. On Saturday night, she tweeted many images from the hospital bed, with only her hand visible. Saumya captioned the pictures, “Pictures are not always pretty and life is not always all smiles. Recovering and will emerge fit soon. Thanks for your wishes in advance.” However, the actress didn't mention what had happened to her which led her to the hospital.

In a conversation with Hindustan Times , the Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain actress speaks about her surgery, says, “I am doing fine. I had a minor operation and I am getting discharged today. It has all gone well and I am hoping to recover soon. It will take a week to get back on my feet. I am so touched by the outpour of best wishes, messages and flowers and phone calls. Every message added a smile to my face and helped me get through this tough time. I am overwhelmed with the love and concern and want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart.”

Earlier, in a podcast Saumya had opened up about what made her leave the show Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain, she said, "I gave up a lot of money to not do Bhabiji, my producer kept on telling me, 'Don't go it's not easy to get this kind of money, your show is very popular.' But money was not exciting me enough and I thought that this is only one life and I got to try different things. A lot of interesting things were happening outside also in terms of content. Earlier, there was a big gap between TV and Films. Now, there were more platforms to explore and I wanted to explore that. Yes, films and TV both have their own stereotypical language."
