Royal Enfield has opened registrations for the 2025 season of the Continental GT Cup, inviting amateur and professional riders to participate in the track racing championships . The new season will now see zonal selection rounds now taking place across eight cities.

The zonal rounds will be held in Chennai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Guwahati, Delhi-NCR, Pune, and Bangalore. This is a significant step up from last year’s edition, which had only four selection cities. The online registration process begins today, with the sole eligibility requirement being a valid driving licence.
Riders can apply under two categories: amateur or professional based on their previous experience. Each zonal round will span two days, with training conducted by expert instructors from the Royal Enfield Track School on the first day, followed by time-based selection trials on the second.

A total of 64 amateur riders will be selected from the eight zonal rounds - eight from each location - and will be joined by 50 professional racers for the final selections. The final selection round will be held from July 3 to 6, 2025, at the Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore. From there, the fastest 24 riders, across both categories, will earn a spot on the racing grid.
The upcoming season will once again feature the unique ‘Pro-Am’ format, where professional and amateur riders compete on the same grid. The ‘ Twin Power Trophy ’ also returns, pairing one pro with one amateur to create a dynamic team-based structure. While individual podiums and titles will be awarded, the added team element is expected to enhance strategic racing and collaborative learning.
The racing season will officially begin in August 2025 and continue for four months, culminating in November. It will include eight races spread over three rounds. The races will be held under the banner of the JK Tyre National Racing Championship and the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India ( FMSCI ).
