IndiGo will launch direct flights between Bengaluru and Riyadh starting November 16, 2025, expanding its network in the Middle East. The new route will be operated by an Airbus A320 aircraft and is aimed at improving connectivity for business, workforce, and leisure travellers between India and Saudi Arabia.
With this addition, Riyadh becomes the second city in Saudi Arabia directly connected to Bengaluru after Jeddah. IndiGo already operates flights linking India to four Saudi cities, Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam, and Madinah.
The airline said the new connection aligns with growing travel demand driven by trade, investment, and employment between the two regions.
“As Saudi Arabia’s capital and a key hub for trade and investment, Riyadh is significant for IndiGo to strengthen air connectivity with India. This new route from Bengaluru marks IndiGo’s fourth non-stop connection to Riyadh, after Delhi, Mumbai, and Hyderabad. It will enhance accessibility for business and workforce from the region while reinforcing IndiGo’s growing network across Saudi Arabia and the Middle East,” said Mr. Vinay Malhotra, Head of Sales at IndiGo.
Bookings for the new route are open on IndiGo’s website, mobile app, and through authorised travel partners.
