BTS's agency HYBE rumoured to be involved in cult religion 'Dahn's World'

Send Push
BTS’s agency HYBE has now come under fire for allegedly being involved in a cult! According to reports the entertainment agency is involved with an infamous cult called Dahn World. The organisation was founded by Ilchi Lee aka Lee Seung Heon, who also launched the Global Cyber University at which six members of BTS had studied.

More About ‘Dahn World’

According to an article shared by Nate Pann, the ‘Dahn World’ organisation believes that man and God are one and the followers worship the deity Mago, who is believed to be the Goddess Of The Universe.

Incidentally, one of HYBE’s girl groups Gfriend had a song called ‘Mago’, which was also their final single before disbanding. The song had a ‘modern witch’ concept. Their final album was also named ‘Walpurgis Night’.

Walpurgis Night observed on the eve of April 30 leading into May 1, has drawn attention from some who speculate that the timing of GFRIEND's disbandment in May and LE SSERAFIM's debut on May 2, 2022, the day following Walpurgis Night, might be significant within the context of a cult conspiracy. The fact that GFriend ended their journey with a witch concept on Walpurgis Night and Le Sserafim debuted with a name that has its origins in the Old Testament is no mere coincidence.

There are also rumours which suggest that this cult may be the reason for the ongoing feud between HYBE and the CEO of one of its sub-labels ADOR. One report claimed that the reason Min Hee Jin (ADOR’s CEO) introduced a separate communications app for her girl group New Jeans instead of relying on HYBE’s version Weverse, was because the latter is said to be a derivative of 'Weavers Mind,' an education company believed to be associated with Dahn World'.

Earlier, Min Hee Jin was accused of consulting a shaman ( a mystic) to get BTS to enlist.

Netizens React To Cult Rumours

As the news broke on X, netizens reacted with various degrees of alarm and amusement. “if HYBE is in Dahn World, I’m the leader of the Illuminati..” quipped one X user.

“So instead of focusing and discussing the actual topic of hybe and their heavy entanglement with dahnworld, they decided to make 85% of it about min heejin and hybe's dispute..” commented another. “Many groups take up witch concepts or fantasy concepts. Gfriend having “Mago” as their last song before disbandment is too far-fetched. I find this so absurd..” wrote another.
