Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A 25-year-old woman, who was preparing for civil services, committed suicide by hanging herself due to her depression over her studies.
She was tensed about her studies and future as she had failed in three UPSC attempts, leading to her depression. She left a suicide note which mentioned her struggle with depression and her apologies to her family members and friends.
According to the police, the deceased was identified as Priyanshi Sugandi, a resident of Scheme No. 78. She was preparing for the UPSC examination and had started her café business around six months ago.
ACP Aditya Patle said that Priyanshi was battling with depression for a long time which she mentioned in her suicide note. She had attempted thrice for the UPSC examination and had failed. She was tense about her studies and her bright future. On Saturday night, she took the drastic step due to her depression when she was alone at home.

Her café partner Aditya Rai told police that Priyanshi ran a café with him in partnership. He, his wife and Priyanshi live together in Harshdeep Classic Sector 3. On Saturday evening, Priyanshi told him that she was going home as she had abdominal pain.
At around midnight, when Aditya and his wife reached home, the house was locked from inside and when they called Priyanshi, she did not respond. They broke open the door and found her hanging inside the room.
