The Pantnagar Police have registered a criminal case against Imran Shaikh, Gaurav Darekar, and others under the Indian Arms Act and Maharashtra Police Act for violating the weapon prohibition order issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Operations), Mumbai.
According to the complaint filed by Police Head Constable Bhaupatil Ghughe, 45, who is part of the Anti-Goonda Squad at Pantnagar Police Station, birthday banners wishing Imran Shaikh were spotted at various locations starting June 27.
The following night, HC Ghughe received a video clip on his mobile phone showing Imran Shaikh celebrating his birthday with friends and relatives at Lavender Bow on the 90 Feet Road in Ghatkopar (East).
