BBC Breakfast presenters Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt delivered some heartbreaking news to viewers on Friday morning, concerning football supporters battling dementia.
On two occasions, guest Adron O'Connor became overwhelmed and burst into tears. Opening the segment, Naga announced: "22 minutes past six is the time.
"Last night, a group of football fans living with dementia walked on the pitch alongside the players at Wembley before the friendly between England and Wales."

Charlie added: "It's part of a partnership between the Football Association and Alzheimer's Society to raise awareness of the condition. Our reporter Tim Muffett was there as the action got underway," reports the Express.

As footage of Adron arriving in his wheelchair was shown, Tim narrated: "On that special day in July 1966, as England lifted the World Cup amongst the cheering crowds at Wembley Stadium was one Adron O'Connor.
"I don't remember a lot, really. I remember the atmosphere was amazing," Adron recalled.
The BBC journalist continued: "Now, aged 81, Adron has returned to Wembley.
"Adron is a lifelong fan of Bristol City and England. He was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, the most common form of dementia, in 2022.
"England are about to play Wales in what has been built as an Alzheimer's International. He'll be one of 22 people living with dementia who will be the game's mascot accompanying the teams onto the pitch."
Before the main event, Adron and other football enthusiasts were treated to a surprise at Wembley by several England players.
Tim revealed, "Given Adron was at the World Cup final in 1966. His invitation came from the man who scored a hat-trick that day, a true England legend, Sir Geoff Hurst."
After watching a video message from Sir Geoff, an emotional Adron could only manage to say, "Thank you. It's amazing."

Adron was equally moved on the actual day at Wembley, as he expressed, "I can't believe things like that.
"I kicked a ball around on the downs in Bristol. I played for about 10 years, and I thought that was amazing. But what about this? I know it's stupid, but I'm so excited."
BBC Breakfast is broadcast daily at 6am on BBC One.
