There was some "tough love" on show when Sue Radford stopped her daughter Katie from visiting their home with her young son in the latest episode of 22 Kids & Counting.
Viewers saw Katie attempt to navigate the first few months of motherhood and it wasn't an easy watch as the struggling new mum opened up about feeling "lonely" and wishing she hadn't left home as she found the night feeds tough going - as well as the distance between her new place and the family home.
Not long after Katie gave birth to her son Ronnie Hudson, the couple moved into a small flat which is just two hours from the rest of the clan. Things are even more difficult since her boyfriend Connor Carter has now gone back to work. It comes after Channel 4 breaks silence after Gogglebox couple suddenly dumped from show.

Katie - the eighth eldest of Britain's largest family - explained she didn't think being isolated would be as difficult as it has been and opening up about the situation, she said: "A baby takes up a lot of room, there just wouldn’t have been room in my mum and dad’s house for us all. Last night, he woke up every two hours.
"I don’t think anything prepares you for having your own, I didn’t expect this to be me. Connor went back to work today and it is harder, you’ve got to do everything yourself. It is a lot harder living on your own. At home you’ve got your parents and your siblings to help, whereas when you’re at your own place you’ve got to do it on your own. I wasn’t prepared for any of that - the loneliness."
Katie switched from the family's 11-bedroom mansion where she lived with her several siblings to a small flat miles away. She welcomed her first child with her boyfriend of six years Connor in October last year, but it hasn't all been smooth sailing for the 22-year-old.
Struggling Katie said that she particularly misses her mum and dad and confesses that it feels like she's on her own. Later on in the episode, she says that she misses the busy nature of living at home with her multiple siblings. She has been returning to her family home most days, but mum Sue said that she felt she had to give her some "tough love".
She said: "She was coming round every single day, 8:30am and then not going back until 6pm - I think she was missing everybody. Katie coming round to the house every day is not really gonna help her settle into being in the flat on her own. Trying to help her, there’s got to be a bit of tough love there."
One clip shows Katie on a walk with Ronnie as she says: "My mum’s text - said I can’t come round today…that’s very strange." She explains: "Memories like Ronnie’s first smile or his first giggle, I’d like to share the moments with all my family, they’re missing out on that. Some days I do regret moving from home."
