PM Kisan: Date of 20th installment fixed, on this day Rs 2000 will come in the accounts of farmers!

The 20th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will be released on August 2, 2025. Prime Minister Modi will launch it virtually from Varanasi. 9.3 crore farmers will get Rs 2,000 each. E-KYC and land record verification are mandatory to avail the benefits. There is news of relief for crores of farmers across the country waiting for the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The central government has fixed the date of the 20th installment of this much-awaited scheme. According to the Ministry of Agriculture, this installment will be released on August 2, 2025 by the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi through video conferencing from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.

Funds will be transferred directly to bank accounts

Under this scheme, an amount of Rs 2,000 each will be transferred directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiary farmers. Lakhs of farmers from across the country will join this virtual program. According to government estimates, this time too, about 9.3 crore farmers will get the benefit. Immediately after the installment is released, the beneficiaries will get the information through SMS alert.

How many installments have been released so far?

The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was launched in 2019. Under this, eligible farmers are given Rs 6,000 every year in three installments. So far, the government has given 19 installments to the farmers and the 20th installment will be released on August 2. Beneficiaries receive this amount every four months.

E-KYC and land record verification necessary

The benefit of this scheme will be available only to those farmers who have completed e-KYC and land record verification on time. Those whose Aadhaar card is not linked to the bank account or whose records are incomplete will not get the installment this time also. The government has repeatedly appealed that eligible farmers should get their details updated as soon as possible.
