Burnage Cricket Club incident LIVE: Police cordon off site after woman's body discovered

A police cordon is in place after a woman's body was discovered near a cricket club in Manchester.

Officers raced to the scene in Brookthorpe Avenue in Burnage, south Manchester, on Monday afternoon.

The victim is yet to be identified, but a post-mortem has been authorised, and police are urging anyone with information to get in touch.
