Most Britons relish a hearty roast dinner on a Sunday. However, the time and energy required to prepare a full roast dinner every week can be daunting for many.

If this resonates with you, fear not, as one health and nutrition coach has revealed her recipe for a 'cheat' roast dinner that takes a mere 20 minutes to whip up in an air fryer.

Ciara Turley's recipe is a simplified version of the traditional roast, featuring bacon-wrapped stuffed chicken accompanied by mash, crispy green beans and gravy. This gives you the comforting feel of a roast without the usual effort.

Ciara posted a reel of herself preparing the meal, demonstrating how she butterflies the chicken breast, fills it with stuffing, and wraps it in bacon.

After seasoning her bacon-wrapped chicken breasts, she then placed them into an air fryer for 15 minutes until they were crispy, before slicing them up.

She informed viewers: "You've got all those roast dinner vibes in there, you can serve it with roast potatoes or my kids love it was mash... your favourite gravy on top."

For the complete list of ingredients and cooking method, be sure to check out Ciara's reel for the details.

The recipe was a hit among fans, garnering over 11,000 likes from food enthusiasts.

One person enthused: "Everything about this looks divine, while another agreed: " while another concurred: "Definitely making this, it looks amazing."

A third chimed in: "Never thought about putting stuffing inside, what a fab idea!".

Offering an additional tip, someone else suggested: "I put sausage in mine too."

Those who are making a traditional roast instead were recently advised to include three ingredients to the meal to 'add depth' to their roast.

According to Secret Food Tours, you should add rosemary, thyme and sage to your roast which will help to enhance the flavour.
