Rondell Sheridan, the cherished actor from Disney's That's So Raven, is facing a grave health battle and is reaching out to his fans for support in this trying time. The 65-year-old star was struck by a severe illness while travelling in April, leading to an extended hospital stay. Friends have disclosed that he is suffering from an "extremely severe case of pancreatitis."
Sheridan, also known for his roles in Cory in the House and Raven's Home, took to social media on Tuesday to announce his health struggles and seek assistance through a GoFundMe campaign set up by his close friend Isabel Beyoso. The crowdfunding effort has already garnered approximately $25,000 of its $35,000 target.
"Hello friends and family. My name is Isabel Beyoso, and I am creating this page on behalf of my very dear friend Rondell Sheridan because he has been admitted to the hospital twice in the last month due to an extremely severe case of pancreatitis," Beyoso stated in the fundraising plea.
Beyoso's update also mentioned that since April 12, 2025, Sheridan has been unable to work, with no clear prognosis from doctors on when he might be able to resume his career. "He has not been able to work since April 12, 2025 and will not be able to return to work for the unforeseeable future," she added, reports The Mirror.
Medical teams are keeping a vigilant eye on him, but their hands are tied for now. "The doctors have said he just has to wait for his pancreas to do what it's going to do before any further treatment can be considered," Beyoso revealed, noting that, "In the meantime, he will be mostly bedridden, while in recovery."
Supporters are being urged to lend a financial hand as Sheridan concentrates on his recovery. "If we can all come together to help him financially for his medical and monthly bills while his body heals, I know this will be one giant stress we can collectively take off his shoulders, so that he can focus on resting, recovering, and healing," Beyoso penned.

The heartfelt plea ended with "Every little bit helps, and he appreciates you immensely".
Besides his Disney Channel stardom, Sheridan has graced shows like The Jamie Foxx Show, Kenan and Kel, Cousin Skeeter, and A Different World, capturing hearts across multiple generations. Now, his loyal fan base is being rallied to support this beloved sitcom father in his time of need.
