is set to represent England at the upcoming World Cup of Darts in Frankfurt, despite his recent fallout with German fans and his decision to pull out of the European Darts Grand Prix. The teenager secured his spot in the Premier League play-offs with weeks to spare and has now confirmed that his boycott of Germany won't affect his participation in defending England's title from June 12-15. But he won't be playing in the country this weekend after skipping an event.
Littler, alongside world No.1 Luke Humphries, will form the 'Lukes of Hazard' duo at the Eissporthalle, putting an end to rumours that the world champion might miss the event following a hostile reception in Munich last month. Opting out of this weekend's European Darts Grand Prix in Sindelfingen, where he was the only top 20 player missing, Littler has made good on his promise to avoid German tournaments until October. However, his commitment to team up with Humphries in Frankfurt remains strong, as they aim to replicate Cool Hand Luke and Michael Smith's victory for England at last year's World Cup, which was England's fifth since the competition began in 2010.
At 18 years old, Littler had no intention of skipping the World Cup, stating: "I was always playing. Luke wants to go back-to-back and I want to win it for the first time. Even though it's not a major, it is still a big event, you are playing for your country."
Rather than facing his critics in Sindelfingen, Littler may instead enjoy watching his favourite team, Warrington Wolves, during the Super League's Magic Weekend.
Darts sensation Luke Littler revealed his simple pleasures despite his skyrocketing fame in the sport, saying: "What will I do instead? Same old - XBoX, chill, maybe go up to Newcastle to watch the rugby."
If one could capture Littler's dream evening, it would mirror the dazzling night in Birmingham where he achieved a record-breaking fifth Premier League nightly win, while simultaneously keeping an eye on his beloved Manchester United as they edged closer to the Europa League final.
Littler opened up about his dedication to the Red Devils, even exploring the potential of attending the final in Bilbao on May 21, despite having a match scheduled in Sheffield the very next day: "I will always watch United, whenever I may be, and of course I'm very happy with a 3-0 win. They won and I won."

"I have been looking at a few flights (for the final) - if I am allowed to go! But if I can't make it, I'll watch it at home."
Upon hearing how snooker ace Luca Brecel jetted off in style to the World Championship, Littler humorously retorted: "Jesus... I don't think a private jet is worth it!"
On a more serious note about his current position in the darts league, he reflected: "For myself, I am just glad I am top of the table. You can see that for fourth and fifth, Michael van Gerwen and Nathan Aspinall, it is going to be a very tricky few weeks for both of them.
"I am very happy that I am not in between them, safely out of the way at the top. It is also a big thing going into the O2. If you are top of the table and play the first semi-final, if you do win that game, you do have a longer break to the final."
Littler's five nightly triumphs in the current season's Premier League darts have pocketed him £50,000 in bonuses, on top of a gleaming £30,000 set of solid gold arrows for his nine-darter in Cardiff.
On Thursday night, Littler dazzled with an average of 102.50 in his 6-4 victory over Michael van Gerwen, following nail-biting last-leg shoot-outs against Stephen Bunting and Nathan Aspinall in the preceding rounds.
He said: "It feels amazing to be setting records in only my second year. It feels very different this time because, as world champion, there's always a target on my back now.
"It's nice to be nine points clear at the top, so I'm very happy and pretty confident I'll stay at No.1 in the table."
