George Clarke, a prominent digital content creator, has captured the hearts of countless new admirers as he showcases his skills on the Strictly Come Dancing dance floor.
At just 25, George has established quite a reputation for himself in the digital sphere, with his fame skyrocketing following his stint on the Netflix reality programme Inside, which launched earlier this year.
Supporters of the charismatic influencer have been regaled with stories of his romantic escapades and bachelor lifestyle, as he's never openly acknowledged being involved with anyone.
Nevertheless, George recently addressed speculation surrounding his personal life, acknowledging he is currently dating someone. During a live transmission, he candidly spoke about his involvement with a woman called Amelia.
Curious followers swiftly uncovered additional details, discovering that George's new partner is a striking model named Yasmin Amelia. Boasting an impressive 30,000 Instagram followers (in contrast to George's substantial 686,000), Yasmin is signed with the J'adore Models agency, reports Wales Online.
The Daily Mail reported that audience members flocked to Reddit to debate the unexpected revelation following the livestream.
One commentator said: "Caught me off guard because he is a very private person, especially about his dating/love life. Even on the pod, he has expressed his desire to keep things private and off socials.", according to the Mirror.
Another supporter added: "I heard about this on his stream, and I'm genuinely happy for him!" whilst a different follower noted: "He confirmed he follows her Insta and requested to give her space to be her own person."
Yet some followers raised eyebrows over the timing of his understated reveal. They questioned: "Wonder whose idea it really was to all of a sudden hard launch his month-and-a-half-long relationship?".
This brings the notorious Strictly curse into focus. The programme has been linked to countless rumoured romances, both creating and ending relationships.
Amongst the partnerships who discovered love through the series are Joe Sugg and Dianne Buswell, Gemma Atkinson and Gorka Marquez, and Rachel Riley and Pasha Kovalev.
Expressing his backing for the content creator, Joe Sugg posted a comment on the announcement regarding George's involvement in the programme.
He wrote: "YES @georgeclarkeey, this is going to be brilliant," with George replying cheekily, "You clearly haven't seen the hips move."
Joe volunteered to provide clips from his initial rehearsal session in 2018, when he competed in the show's 16th series and secured second place. He promised George that this material would demonstrate that "miracles can happen".
