Pavi Caretaker Box Office Collection Day 3: Dileep's Latest Drama Sees A Spike

Dileep's latest comedy-drama venture, Pavi Caretaker, which released on April 26, opened to Rs 1.05 crore at the box office. From then on it earned Rs 1.15 crore net and 1. 30 crore on Saturday and Sunday respectively.

On day 3, the film displayed an impressive occupancy of 37.28 percent. This has helped the film earn over Rs 3 crore net in India.

As per trade experts, the numbers at the box office, are impressive, since the film had minimal pre-release hype, marking a good start for the comedy drama.





About Pavi Caretaker

The film revolves around Pavi, portrayed by Dileep, who works as a caretaker in a renowned apartment complex in Kochi. As a middle-aged bachelor, Pavi navigates through life's challenges in a humorous yet engaging story.



Directed by Vineeth Kumar and written by Rajesh Raghavan. It has been produced by Dileep through Grand Production. The film also features Johny Antony, Radhika Sarathkumar, and Dharmajan Bolgatty.

Dileep expresses concerns of being a target


Addressing the media during a press event for his film Pavi Caretaker, Dileep voiced his concerns about being targetted by certain groups. He said, "It’s not a recent occurrence that my films are getting targeted; it has been happening for years. Even before my films are released, they are singled out for criticism. This pattern has persisted over the years, albeit with new tactics employed by the attackers."



Expressing his dismay at the targeting, Dileep spoke about the inability to identify the perpetrators. He said "We overlooked evil activities occurring outside the film industry while engrossed in the world of cinema. I find myself in a situation where I cannot even name those responsible. I am currently speechless."

Dileep's previous film was the action drama film Thankamani failed to impress the audiences.
