Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins go back a long way. After dominating the entire WWE roster together a part of the 'Shield' Rollins turned back on his own teammates later in a shocking plot twist. Fast forward to the present and the former teammates will be on opposite ends come WrestleMania 40.

Reigns will join hands with the Rock, while Rollins will be in Cody Rhodes' corner for the highly anticipated tag team battle on the night of the Philadelphia spectacle.

The tag team contest will be the main event of WrestleMania 40 night 1, something which Rollins will be extremely proud of. He shared an old tweet of himself from 2012 when Seth had predicted he would main-event WrestleMania one day.

The WWE Heavyweight Champion shared an image of the poster of the tag team contest, as a reply to his own tweet from 2012. Roman Reigns took a sly dig at Rollins' post, calling him a 'virgin' ahead of his first WrestleMania main event.

"I will main event #WrestleMania one day. And we'll change the world together," read the tweet that Seth Rollins had put out in April 2012. He would then go on to share the tweet again, along with a picture of the poster of the tag team match at Lincoln Field Stadium in Philadelphia.

Reigns meanwhile took note of the same and trolled Rollins by sharing a morphed image of the wrestler.

Despite having wrestled at ten WrestleMania events, Rollins technically never was in the main event in any of his 11 matches so far. He did cash in his Money in the Bank contract at WrestleMania 31, to make the Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns contest a triple threat match, winning the WWE Championship.

Therefore, Reigns poked fun at Seth Rollins ahead of his first WrestleMania main event, having himself highlighted the show of shows on multiple occasions. The 'visionary' as he likes to call himself has come a long way since making his WrestleMania debut at WM 29, and this year he will be part of two monumental matches, as he will defend his Heavyweight Championship on Night 2 after the tag team contest against the Bloodline on the first night.
