CBSE invites Classes 9–12 to join podcasts, social media initiatives nationwide: Here's what to know

Send Push
In a world where students are constantly navigating information, inspiration, and opportunities online, the ability to communicate, express, and influence has never been more valuable. Recognizing this, the Central Board of Secondary Education ( CBSE ) is stepping beyond traditional classrooms, inviting students to participate in podcasts and digital content initiatives designed to amplify their voices nationwide.

A platform for students to be heard
The CBSE, long known for shaping academic excellence, is now exploring innovative ways to connect directly with students. Through educational podcasts and social media content available on public platforms such as YouTube, CBSE aims to provide meaningful guidance on academic, personal, and counseling matters. But this time, it’s not just about experts or educators, the board wants students themselves to be part of the conversation.

By including student voices via short videos, audio clips, testimonials, and interactive conversations, CBSE hopes to make its content relatable, engaging, and truly student-centric. The initiative reflects a shift in how institutions are approaching education: it’s no longer about one-way communication but fostering dialogue that resonates with young minds.

Who can participate
CBSE is inviting students from Classes IX to XII to take part. Ideal nominees are those who are articulate, confident, and enthusiastic about expressing their ideas on camera or microphone. Participation is completely voluntary, and students need to provide written consent alongside their parents or guardians.

Schools are requested to nominate deserving students by forwarding their names and brief profiles via the Google form available here, within 10 days from the date of the circular.

Why this matters for students
For students, this is more than a chance to appear in digital content, it is an opportunity to cultivate confidence, communication skills , and self-expression. In a world increasingly shaped by digital engagement, learning to convey thoughts clearly, share experiences, and contribute meaningfully can provide an edge both academically and personally.

A vision beyond the classroom
CBSE’s initiative underscores a larger trend in education: Learning today is no longer confined to textbooks and exams. It is about participation, dialogue, and creative contribution. By opening this platform to students nationwide, CBSE is empowering them to shape conversations that affect their peers, parents, and the broader educational ecosystem.

For schools, educators, and students alike, this is a call to embrace innovation, voice opinions, and contribute to a more inclusive and student-led dialogue. As CBSE continues to blend traditional guidance with modern communication, the classroom extends beyond walls, and the student voice becomes central to the national educational conversation.

In the end, this initiative is not just about appearing on podcasts or social media, it is about preparing the next generation of learners to communicate, inspire, and lead in a rapidly evolving world.
