Kartik Aaryan made a notable appearance at the World Audio Visual Entertainment Summit (WAVES) 2025, held at the Jio Convention Centre in Mumbai from May 1 to 4. Dressed in a classic white ethnic ensemble, the actor walked the red carpet and also took the stage to address Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other esteemed dignitaries present at the event.

Kartik’s Overwhelming First Address to PM Modi

Kartik later took to Instagram to share photos and a video from the summit. While his elegant look drew praise, it was the video of him speaking at the event that truly stood out. Addressing Prime Minister Modi for the first time, Kartik admitted he felt overwhelmed by the moment.



Kartik Aaryan and SS Rajamouli: A Warm Interaction

He said, "A warm welcome to Ajit Pawar ji and all the guests who have come here at WAVES 2025. Prime Minister ji, Modi ji, sorry, my heart is beating very fast (heartbeat bohot tez chal rahi hai) as I am saying something for the first time in front of you. So, I will try my best to maintain the decorum here. And if anything goes wrong, please forgive me. WAVES, it’s founded by four pillars: Creativity, Innovation, Collaboration and Inclusion."




SS Rajamouli Celebrates India’s Rich Storytelling Tradition

Kartik Aaryan was also seen engaging with renowned filmmaker SS Rajamouli at the event. In a widely shared video, Kartik warmly welcomed the Baahubali director to the stage, offering a handshake and respectfully stepping aside to let him speak.

During his address, SS Rajamouli highlighted India’s rich cultural and linguistic diversity, emphasizing that each language carries centuries of history. He celebrated the nation’s storytelling legacy, stating that India boasts one of the world’s most vibrant and diverse narrative traditions.



Kartik Aaryan’s Busy Work Schedule Ahead

On the work front, Kartik Aaryan has a packed schedule. After the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, he will next be seen in Anurag Basu’s untitled project alongside Sreeleela. Kartik has also reunited with SatyaPrem Ki Katha director Sameer Vidwans for the film Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri. Additionally, he is set to star in Naagzilla, which is scheduled for release in 2026.
