Latur constituency of Maharashtra Lok Sabha Election 2024: Date of voting, result, candidates list, main parties, schedule

NEW DELHI: The Election Commission of India announced the final schedule for the voting and result of the Latur Lok Sabha election, which is one of the 48 Lok Sabha constituencies in Maharashtra , on March 16.

The voting date for the Latur Lok Sabha constituency election 2024 has been set for May 7, during Phase 3 of the elections.

The date for the counting and announcement of results for the Latur Lok Sabha Constituency Election 2024 is scheduled for June 4.

In the 2024 candidates list for the Latur Lok Sabha Constituency, Sudhakar Tukaram Shrangare from the Bharatiya Janata Party and Dr Shivajirao Kalge from the Indian National Congress are the prominent candidates.

In the Lok Sabha elections of 2019, Sudhakar Tukaram Shrangare of the BJP emerged as the winning candidate from the Latur Lok Sabha constituency, securing 661,495 votes. Kamant Machhindra Gunwantrao of the INC received 372,384 votes. Kamant Machhindra Gunwantrao lost by a margin of 289,111 votes.

In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Dr Sunil Baliram Gaikwad of the BJP emerged as the winning candidate from the Latur Lok Sabha constituency, securing 616,509 votes. Bansode Dattatray Gunderao of the INC received 363,114 votes. Latur parliamentary constituency had a total of 1,686,957 registered electors in 2014.
