NEW DELHI: The Pakistan men's cricket team is set for a historic tour of Ireland, marking their first visit to the country since 2018. The Pakistan Cricket Board ( PCB ) has unveiled the schedule for a thrilling three-match T20I series against Ireland.

Scheduled to take place from May 10 to 14, all three matches of the series will unfold at the Castle Avenue in Dublin. This tour signifies a significant milestone in cricketing relations between the two nations, as it marks Pakistan's return to Ireland since their participation in Ireland's inaugural Test match in 2018.

The upcoming series holds added significance as it marks the first-ever multi-match bilateral T20I encounter between Pakistan and Ireland. Previously, the two teams had crossed paths in the shortest format only once, during a one-off match back in 2009.

A much-anticipated two-match T20I series was scheduled for July 2020, but unfortunately, it did not materialize due to the disruptions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Prior to their tour of Ireland, the Men in Green will gear up to host New Zealand in a five-match T20I series, commencing on April 18.

Following their fixtures in Ireland, Pakistan's cricketing journey will continue as they will take on England in a thrilling four-match T20I series slated between May 22 and 28.

Pakistan Tour of Ireland schedule:

May 10: First T20I, Dublin

May 12: Second T20I, Dublin

May 14: Third T20I, Dublin
