Tech giant Google has announced that it will shut down the Google Podcast app completely on June 23. The company has also announced that the international export options for Google Podcasts are now live.

Google has announced that Podcasts users can seamlessly transfer their show subscriptions to YouTube Music or export them for use in another podcast app.
Furthermore, Google Podcasts data will remain available for takeout for one year, after which the company will initiate the process of deleting all users’ Google Podcasts data.

Today (April 25), the migration tool became available to international users. Upon opening Google Podcasts or visiting the website, a new banner will appear at the top of the app:

* "Effortlessly transfer your podcast subscriptions list to YouTube Music."
* "Download your podcast subscriptions list as an OPML file, then import it into the podcast app of your choice."

Recently, YouTube revealed its vision for YouTube Music (YTM) to become the "ultimate destination for podcasters and fans." It envisions YouTube Music as offering a conventional experience akin to what Google Podcasts provided, as opposed to the video-centric approach.
