WhatsApp rival Telegram has rolled out a new Sticker Editor feature for its users. This tool enables users to effortlessly create personalised stickers and entire sticker sets without ever leaving the Telegram app .

How to make a sticker on Telegram
Within the editor, users have the freedom to enhance any photo by incorporating text, drawings, animated stickers, emojis, and GIFs. Additionally, users can effortlessly trim objects, eliminate backgrounds, manually erase or restore specific parts of the photo, and apply outlines to achieve a traditional sticker appearance—all accomplished with a single tap.

To start making stickers, open the sticker panel from your input field in any chat, then tap the inviting (+) button.

Users can easily create sticker sets for friends to reuse in their chats or add stickers to existing sets. Users can add existing stickers to custom sets, bringing favourites together in one pack or creating themed collections.

The company has also announced that it will soon unveil the 16 new features coming to Telegram.

In related news, Telegram CEO Pavel Durov criticised Apple over its decision to remove the messaging app from the App Store in China. Apple recently, confirmed it had pulled several apps, including Telegram, WhatsApp, Threads, and Signal, from its China App Store after demands from the Chinese government citing "national security" concerns.

In a post on his public Telegram channel, Durov alleged that the real target of China's crackdown was Apple itself rather than Telegram or other apps removed. "Last week, China forced Apple to remove apps such as Telegram from its Chinese App Store. We haven't seen any decrease in downloads coming from China - and I don't think Telegram was the main target of this change," Durov wrote.
