At least four people were killed and 14 others injured in a drive-by shooting outside a nightclub in downtown Chicago late Wednesday. The incident occurred in the 300 block of West Chicago Avenue as crowds exited Artis Lounge, where an album release party for rapper Mello Buckzz was underway.
Chicago police confirmed that four people suffered fatal gunshot wounds while 14 others were hospitalized. At least three remain in critical condition.
Authorities are continuing their investigation into the latest mass shooting.
The same location witnessed another mass shooting in November 2022, when the venue operated as Hush Lounge. That incident left one dead and three injured after a group ejected from the club clashed outside. Hush was later shut down, and Artis Lounge opened at the same address.
